Stud Card

Stud fees – Balance of Stud Fees payable on the mares arrival at the Stud.

Keep - as arranged is payable on collection.

All mares must be swabbed for CEM and blood tested for EVA within 30 days prior to arrival and certificates forwarded to the Stud.

All mares to travel with their Passports, as well as up-to-date Equine Flu & Tetanus vaccination records. Photocopies of these to be held at the Stud while mare is staying.

All mares to have their hind shoes removed prior to arrival.

Vet Treatments – All expenses incurred for visits, examinations (mares can be scanned in foal) and medicines will be invoiced & payable by the owner direct to Whistlejacket Equine.

In the event that emergency veterinary attention is necessary, every effort will be made to contact the owner prior to treatment. However, if the owner is not contactable for whatever reason Whistlejacket Equine will administer the treatment they consider to be most appropriate and in the best interest of the mare and charge the owner accordingly.

Although your mare will be well cared for, accidents can occur therefore owners are advised to have their mare insured.
